Aisha Hinds is an American actress, is known for playing roles in the television shows The Shield and True Blood. Her versatility has been demonstrated throughout 2003, delivering impressive performances in TV shows like 9-1-1 Detroit, 1-8-7, and Under the Dome. She was first noticed for her part as Anna in the 2005 film Assault on Precinct 13. But it was her role as Fannie Lou (a woman's advocate for women's rights) within the biography All the Way film that earned her the attention of an actor. Hind was praised for her portrayal of Harriet Tubman, in WGN America's historical drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television has renewed the show to a third season. Recently Hind completed filming for the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters which is scheduled to release mid-2019. In April 2007 she married Abhishek Bachchan, a regular co-star, and daughter of Bollywood famous Amitabh Bachchan in a marriage that brought together two the country's most famous personalities.
