Big Time Rush is an American boy band that specializes in pop music. The band was created in 2009. The group is comprised of Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Logan Henderson, and Carlos PenaVega. They signed initially with Nick Records in 2009. Then, Columbia Records transferred them to their new label. The group was featured in Nickelodeon's television show Big Time Rush. The show ran from November 28th, 2009 until July 25 in 2013. The pilot episode showcased the group's first promo single, "Big Time Rush". The band has released three albums, including BTR in 2010 and Elevate in 2011, and 24/Seven in 2013. The group in 2014 stopped performing for an indefinite period which lasted until 2021.
