Abigail Spencer

Abigail Leigh Spencer (born August 4th, 1981) is an American actress. Her performances in the movies Cowboys & Aliens and The Haunting in Connecticut 2 Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great & Powerful and in the television series Angela's eye Mad Men Hawthorne, and Suits are among her most recognizable works. She is currently starring as Amantha in Rectify which is a Sundance Channel series. Abigail Leigh Spencer, an American actress and film director who is also a TV producer. Her popularity was boosted by her role on the show drama Rectify as well as the sci-fi show Timeless. Gulf Breeze Florida native made her acting debut with the show All My Children. For her work she was awarded the Soap Opera Digest Award as Outstanding Female newcomer. She mainly appeared in role as guest actors during the course of some time. The most well-known was her role as Dr. Erin Jameson, in the TV show Hawthorne. Her gorgeous looks and stunning appearance, along with her uncanny acting talent helped to slowly grow an audience. In the movie Campfire Stones, she played in the role at the age of 20. She has also appeared on Jekyll This Means War, Chasing Mavericks as well as other films. The part she played as a character in Beautiful Now earned her a nomination in the Madrid International Film Festival Award. In the past, she played Lucy Preston (history professor) in Timeless. It has been well-received by critics and Spencer's performance has resulted in her being nominated in The Teen Choice Award.
